so... I figured that I should make one of these things to sort of set aside and display my unnatural fetish for everything anime and doujinshi. I mean, I'm an adult kinda, so, what's up? But you know, whatever. Anime and manga is so often so much more intelligent and well planned than american comics and cartoons, it hurts me. damn you, japan! damn you for being so retardedly good at everything.

I guess the main emphasis of this little hidden account is shounen ai. I find the entire genre really cool and empowering, not only as someone who identifies as genderqueer, but as a living example of tolerance being pointed at a YOUNG female audience. (though not just for the young, hard yaoi teaches us.) it's neat that american girls and boys are now getting into this kind of thing, and besides being stupidly romantic, it can also embrace a really strong sense of sexuality hitherto unknown in american comics. (not just stupid huge-boobed sex-bimbos in marvel/dc stuff)
